Second Call for Proposals – Culture and Heritage Grants and Contributions for 2025-2026

The Department of Culture and Heritage is pleased to announce a second call for applications for projects that promote, protect, preserve and revitalize the culture, language, arts and heritage of Nunavut.

Community-based, non-profit organizations, municipal corporations and individuals looking for financial support can apply to receive funding in these program areas:

  • Heritage: Arts, Culture and Heritage Grants, Heritage Centre Core Funding, Heritage Facilities Core Funding, Public Library Services Contributions and Toponomy
  • Inuit Tunngavingit: Elders Initiatives Grants, Elders and Youth Committee Grants, Elders and Youth Facilities Contributions, Youth Initiative Grants
  • Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit in Government: Inuit Societal Values Contributions
  • Official Languages: Community Radio Grant, French Language Services, Promotion and Protection of Inuit Language Contributions, Promotion and Protection of Inuit Language Grants, Private Sector Support Program

All eligible parties are encouraged to apply. Project activities must take place between June 1, 2025 and March 31, 2026. The deadline for applications is June 20, 2025, at 5 p.m. EST.
