Fatal shooting update

(Kahnawake – 21 Tsothohrhkó:wa/January 2026) The Kahnawake Peacekeepers are issuing an update on the fatal shooting that occurred January 20th at approximately 14:30, in the parking lot behind Robbie’s Smokehouse.

The victim has been identified as Kyle Chad Grabowski. (DOB 1985/12/26) He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. According to witnesses and security camera footage, the victim was leaving Robbie’s Smokehouse and was attacked by two suspects who fled the scene in a red Honda Civic. That vehicle was found shortly after, on fire, in Chateauguay. A firearm was located nearby.
