Rama First Nation hockey teams are prepared and excited for the Little Native Hockey League (LNHL) tournament this month, and much of that preparation came from the fundraising committee.
The LNHL tournament is the largest annual hockey tournament for Indigenous children. It began in 1971, and Rama teams have participated since its early years.
“It’s multigenerational,” said a smiling Caitlen Tingey, who is part of the fundraising committee.
