A Barrie artist is set to showcase her work on the world stage through a major public art initiative for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
In collaboration with STEPS Public Art, the Old Town Toronto BIA has brought together 48 artists to transform a fleet of beaver sculptures ahead of the international tournament.
Local Métis artist Monica Loney is among those selected — and has been invited to craft an exclusive 49th sculpture.
