The Centre d’amitié autochtone de Lanaudière concludes its fundraising campaign with $4.6 million

The Centre d’amitié autochtone de Lanaudière is pleased to announce that its major fundraising campaign, Mamo Maniketan (Let’s build together), has come to a successful conclusion, raising more than $4.6 million for the construction of its new centre.

The Centre d’amitié autochtone de Lanaudière (CAAL) is pleased to announce that its major fundraising campaign, Mamo Maniketan (Let’s build together), launched in March 2025, is now over. Thanks to exceptional support from the community and committed partners, more than $4.6 million was raised, surpassing the initial goal of $3 million. This funding will go toward building a new gathering place, consisting of temporary housing, a childcare centre (CPE), a cultural centre and community spaces, designed by and for the urban Indigenous community of the Lanaudière region.
