Canada’s national Inuit organization’s gift to PM hangs in his Ottawa office
An Inuit-themed hockey jersey photo-bombed a photo-op last week in Prime Minister Mark Carney’s office.
As Carney met April 8 in Ottawa with Ontario MP Marilyn Gladu — who had just left the Conservative caucus in the House of Commons to join Carney’s governing Liberals — a custom hockey jersey given to the prime minister by Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami president Natan Obed could be seen hanging in the background in Carney’s office.
It was an ITK All-Stars jersey.
