Notice is hereby given that the Lax Kw’alaams Band held a
Nomination Period from April 14, 2026, until
April 21, 2026, in accordance with the Lax Kw’alaams Election
Regulations (2023) and the Lax Kw’alaams
Indian Band Settlement Trust Agreement for the purpose of filling two (2) Trustee positions for the Lax Kw’alaams Trust, for the remaining term of office, in an election to be held on June 2, 2026.

The above candidates have met the candidacy requirements in accordance with the Lax Kw’alaams Election Regulations (2023) and the Lax Kw’alaams Indian Band Settlement Trust Agreement. Their names shall appear in one ballot.
