Celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day with the Library!

This June, in honour of National Indigenous Peoples Day, visit both library locations for book displays recognizing the diverse and distinct cultures, heritage, and achievements of Indigenous Peoples – First Nations, Inuit, and Métis – in what is now known as Canada.

Can’t make it to the library? Check out the National Indigenous Peoples Day research guide for a sampling of resources from across Turtle Island created in celebration of the Indigenous creators and topics featured in the library collection.

All of the books in June’s displays and guide are Authentic Indigenous Voices designated. This means they have been authored or contributed to by Indigenous creators. If you have suggestions for Indigenous-authored books that are not yet part of our collection, please let us know by emailing your ideas to library@camosun.ca.
