Press Release
On Thursday, April 23, the Indigenous Chamber of Commerce (ICC) hosted its annual Masquerade Gala at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. The evening was a strong success, bringing together a diverse group of attendees from across the business, non-profit, and government sectors for a night of connection, celebration, and community.
A key focus of this year’s Gala was fundraising in support of the Manitoba Aboriginal Sports and Recreation Council. Through the generosity of attendees and supporters, a total of $1,726 was raised to help advance programs that promote youth engagement, recreation, and community wellness across Indigenous communities in Manitoba.
The evening also featured an exciting raffle, with a variety of prizes available to guests. The Grand Prize, generously supported by Calm Air, included two flight vouchers valued at up to $5,000. In addition, the 50/50 draw saw one lucky attendee take home over $300 in cash.
The ICC extends its sincere thanks to all sponsors, partners, and guests who contributed to making this event possible. We look forward to building on this momentum and welcoming everyone back next year for an even bigger celebration.
