Aboriginal business conference fans flames of entrepreneurial spirit, locally and globally
13/11/13
When talking about Aboriginal business nothing could be a stronger barometer of what’s going on than attending something as exciting and informing as the 2013 Aboriginal Entrepreneurs Conference and Tradeshow recently hosted by the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business and supported by numerous partners including Aboriginal and Northern Development Canada Nov. 4 – 6 in Gatineau, Que.
As the CCAB President and CEO, I had the privilege to be on the frontline of the conference planning, delivery and participation.
The first day of the conference began in the early hours when the National Post front page story featured digital storyteller and conference participant Lisa Charleyboy. The in-depth story captured her mission to empower Aboriginal youth, using digital media to get her message across, and empower other young Aboriginal entrepreneurs to realize their dreams.
