The Department of Community Services is extending the deadline to apply for the Inuit Tourism Business Mentorship Program. This program supports tourism business owners in Nunavut to leverage their skills, knowledge, and professional capacity to grow their businesses.
The Inuit Tourism Business Mentorship Program offers training to five Inuit tourism business owners and operators in Nunavut. Each mentorship includes up to 10 days of dedicated project time through a combination of in-person and virtual sessions, over the course of four to six months.
To be eligible, applicants must be Nunavut Inuit and own a tourism business registered in the territory.
To apply, please send a letter of interest to tourism@gov.nu.ca along with the required documents: an executive business summary including what tourism services are offered, and what you would like to achieve from this mentorship program. Additionally, you must include proof of Nunavut Inuit status.
The deadline to apply has been extended to November 15, 2025.
