Applications for Audible’s Indigenous Writers’ Circle open – Windspeaker

February 25, 2026

Audible is opening applications for its Indigenous Writers’ Circle (Summer 2026) — a six-month mentorship program designed to support emerging First Nations, Inuit and Métis storytellers in bringing new work to life.

Now entering its sixth year, the program has helped alumni move from early drafts to published projects, while building a national pipeline for Indigenous voices in audio and beyond.

The 2026 mentor circle includes returning acclaimed authors Tanya Talaga and Richard Van Camp, alongside new mentor Katłįa Lafferty, an award-winning Yellowknife Dene writer whose forthcoming book Mother Earth Is Our Elder arrives this April.
