Assault victim was “great mother”, says sister – The Chronicle Journal

The sister of the 22-year-old assault victim who died in hospital Wednesday afternoon describes her as being a great mother.

Thunder Bay Police Service confirmed that Larissa Charlie-Stillaway died while at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre after being the victim of an assault Tuesday morning.

A post mortem is pending.

Police also confirmed that they are now treating this as a homicide investigation.

Larissa’s sister Natosha Charlie-Stillaway said the news of her sister’s death has devastated the family.
