The Bonnyville Friendship Centre taking proactive measures to mitigate any possible impact on its community programs.

BONNYVILLE – the National Association of Friendship Centres (NAFC) is expressing concern regarding the lack of investment in urban Indigenous communities and the absence of renewed funding for the Urban Programming for Indigenous Peoples (UPIP).

The Bonnyville Friendship Centre Board President Sandra Bodenchuk made a statement earlier this month raising concerns about the 2025 Federal Budget and how it may impact the Friendship Centre and organizations like it.
