CRITERIA FOR SELECTING HOSTS

I·SPARC will select the host communities based on experience and preparedness criteria. Successful hosts must have a dedicated individual to support event coordination together with I·SPARC. Other elements that are helpful may include available facilities, a strong volunteer base, past hosting experience. The selection process will also consider the importance of having events delivered in different communities throughout the province (while also considering accessibility) and in regions where that particular sport has a strong history and presence.

CAMP COACH(ES)
I·SPARC, together with our sport partners, shall be responsible for identifying and securing the coach(es) who shall deliver and facilitate the camp curriculum.

FINANCIAL CONSIDERATIONS

To support the planning and delivery of the events, I∙SPARC will issue a Hosting Grant to the host to help offset the majority if not all of the core operating costs for hosting a Provincial Camp. However, those considering the opportunity to host Camp must also evaluate their ability to contribute in-kind human resources with an appointed representative to participate in to the co-coordination of the camp.

DATES OF PROVINCIAL CAMPS

The required dates or targeted time frames for hosting events is outlined on the application forms. Applicants are required to indicate preferred date(s) for delivering the event based on these required time frames (if applicable).

APPLICATION DEADLINE

Applications must be received before 4:00 pm Tuesday, May 12 2025.
