Call for nominations to the Nunavik Marine Region Planning Commission

The Government of Nunavut is looking for nominations to fill its seat on the Nunavik Marine Region Planning Commission (NMRPC).

The NMRPC has broad responsibilities for land-use planning in the Nunavik Marine Region, including developing land-use plans and ensuring that they are put into effect.

If you are familiar with land management issues in the Nunavik Marine Region and would like to contribute to the work of the NMRPC, please contact Lena Hughes for more information at 867-975-7705 or lhughes@gov.nu.ca.

The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. on May 13, 2016.
