Call for nominations to the Nunavut Surface Rights Tribunal

The Government of Nunavut is accepting nominations to fill its seat on the Nunavut Surface Rights Tribunal (NSRT).

The NSRT acts as an impartial mediator when developers and landowners disagree on compensation related to resource activity on Inuit-Owned Lands.

If you are familiar with Nunavut surface rights issues and would like to contribute to the work of the NSRT, or if you would like to nominate someone else, please submit a resume and application form to Naomie Pudluk at npudluk@gov.nu.ca.

Please note that the successful candidate must pass a security clearance. The application deadline is 5 p.m. (local time) on January 20, 2023.
