Who:     The Canadian Wind Energy Association (CanWEA) and over 1,500 international wind and renewable energy experts from around the world will gather at CanWEA’s 29th Annual Conference and Exhibition in Toronto.

What:   CanWEA’s 2013 Conference & Exhibition is Canada’s largest wind energy conference attracting over 1,500 delegates and almost 150 exhibiting companies from around the world. It is the place to see wind energy related products and services, network with leading industry decision makers, and generate numerous first-rate business leads. When:  October 7 – 10, 2013 – Note: The Conference’s opening reception occurs on Monday, October 7^th and the first full day of programming is Tuesday, October 8^th.

This industry now represents billions of dollars in new investments across the manufacturing and construction sectors annually in Canada. Today, wind energy continues to play a significant and growing role in delivering clean, safe and affordable energy as provinces look to build more robust electricity systems. Maintaining this momentum will require continued commitments to long-term, aggressive targets for wind energy development and a stable policy framework, along with responsible and sustainable industry practices.
