August 18, 2014, VANCOUVER, B.C. – CARIBOU KING RESOURCES LTD. (“Caribou” or the “Company”) (TSX-V: CKR) (CB8–FRANKFURT)announces it has initiated further sampling at the Buckingham Project, located approximately 750 meters west of the historic Walker Graphite Mine in Buckingham Township, Quebec.
The company is mobilizing a crew immediately to commence a sampling and mapping program on the project designed to follow up on favourable assay results and electromagnetic anomalies previously announced in the Caribou King news releases dated July 28, 2014 and November 18, 2013. A detailed “Beep Mat” EM grid will be surveyed, followed by sampling and geochemical analysis. The Beep Mat tool is a miniaturized electromagnetic survey instrument that detects conductive subcrops up to 3m below surface.
Primary target areas include the southeast area of the property, which hosts the high-grade graphite showings previously announced by Caribou King, and the northeast area of the property, directly adjacent to and along strike with Cavan Ventures Inc’s (TSX-V:CVN) discovery trenches announced July 8th and July 17th 2014.
The company intends to provide updates as the program progresses.
