Press Release
May 27, 2025
Throughout June, the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) proudly celebrates Pride Month, and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities across the province. Pride is more than a celebration—it’s a powerful movement rooted in resistance, resilience, and the unwavering pursuit of authenticity and equality.
At OTF, we recognize that creating safe, inclusive spaces and supporting community-driven programming are essential to building a vibrant Ontario where everyone can thrive. Pride Month is a time to honour the achievements of 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals and organizations, while continuing the work toward a more inclusive future.
Since 2019, OTF has invested more than $30 million in projects that uplift and empower 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. These investments reflect our commitment to equity, inclusion, and the transformative power of community-based programming.
As an organization, OTF is dedicated to fostering a workplace that values diverse voices and lived experiences. We are committed to creating an environment where everyone feels seen, heard, and respected.
