Community justice committees seeking members

Do you have knowledge and experience in dealing with social issues, restorative justice and Inuit societal values? Interested in helping victims and offenders? Communityjustice committees across Nunavut are currently recruiting members.

These committees are seeking youth representatives, middle-generation individuals and Elders.

Committee members are volunteers and receive honoraria for attending regular meetings. Training will be provided in or outside the community.

If you are interested, please submit your resume and criminal record check to your local community justice outreach worker. A full contact list can be found on the GN website.
