Community Updates: Mackenzie Valley Highway

The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) is continuing community engagement on the Mackenzie Valley Highway to share updates and discuss next steps.

Upcoming community meetings:

April 23 – Fort Good Hope, Community Hall, 6:00 p.m. (rescheduled from February 12)
April 24 – Colville Lake, School Gym, 12:00 p.m. (rescheduled from February 13)

These sessions are a chance to:

hear where the project is at
learn about upcoming work and timelines
ask questions and share your thoughts

Everyone is welcome.

In-person availability in Norman Wells:

A member of the project team will be available at the Sahtu Secretariat Incorporated (SSI) Office, located in the Sahtu Research Support Centre on Mackenzie Drive in Norman Wells, during the following weeks:

April 20–24
May 25–29
June 15–19

A GNWT representative from the MVH team will be based in Norman Wells during these times to provide interim support while the SSI liaison position is being filled. They will be available to meet with community members, share project updates, and respond to questions or concerns.
