Consultant to Conduct Literature Review on Childhood and Youth Violent Victimization

OFIFC Request for Proposals: Consultant to Conduct Literature Review on Childhood and Youth Violent Victimization

The OFIFC is accepting proposals from consultants to conduct a comprehensive literature review and analysis on the impacts of violent victimization in childhood and youth. This work will focus on family violence, life‑course effects, cognitive and behavioral outcomes, and effective interventions, with the goal of informing OFIFC program development and culture‑based services for urban Indigenous communities.

The ideal consultant has a strong understanding of urban Indigenous realities and the work of Friendship Centres, and can develop a detailed research and analysis plan with clear questions, activities, and sources. They will provide a comprehensive overview of key concepts, evidence, and gaps in the subject area, grounding all project activities in rigorous analytical methods. The resulting work should expand the OFIFC’s knowledge on current evidence, emerging findings, and critical gaps related to childhood and youth violent victimization.
