Council praised for truth and reconciliation practices – 880 CKLQ
Aboriginal Community Coordinator says Brandon is well ahead of other cities
Brandon, MB (CKLQ) – Brandon is doing great things when it comes to truth and reconciliation, according to the local Aboriginal Community Coordinator.
Jason Gobeil (Go-bay) says council has not gotten in the way in proposed changes which are made to meet calls to action.
Gobeil says, “Council has always been forthcoming to help spread the word or educate and create awareness on indigenous issues.”
He thinks the city should be celebrated for being ahead of other communities in the process.
