The new space allows community to cure hides, dry meat and pass on traditional skills year-round

Doig River First Nation celebrated the grand opening of its new cultural experiences centre this week, following the addition of new housing, a prayer house, a school and daycare program.

It’s the latest development for the community, home to around 130 people, located roughly an hour drive northeast of Fort St John, B.C.
