Nelson Education partners with board to develop courses with vetted culturally respective content
Teachers in the Niagara Catholic District School Board can be confident in course materials they are using to teach students about Indigenous culture, thanks to a partnership with an education publisher.
Niagara Catholic has teamed with Nelson Education to offer teachers resources and support when teaching courses with Indigenous content and Rachel Cha, the board’s consultant of Indigenous education and whose portfolio includes the Indigenous Resource Centre at The Pope Francis Centre, couldn’t be happier.
A digital platform called Edwin is being put to use through the partnership.
