The second annual Madwewetoon Indigenous Music and Arts Festival is set to come to Sudbury, taking place at Knox Hall on Tuesday March 24 at 7 p.m.
“Madwewetoon, which translates to “make it sound” in Ojibwe, is a celebration of Indigenous arts and culture in Northern Ontario,” explained a festival spokesperson. “We are excited to announce our festival headliners: Thea May; Drives the Common Man; James N. Wilson; and Lisa Marie Naponse.”
