‘What we’re doing is living the dream, we’re living that vision,’ FNUniv president Jacqueline Ottmann says
Even before it was established, First Nations University of Canada was a dream of the ancestors, says its current president.
“We know that all education is identified within treaties as a value,” Jacqueline Ottmann said.
“The desire and vision for a higher education institution that was First Nation-owned and operated was alive and very real for First Nation leaders.”
