Fisher River Cree Nation: Interested Junior B Hockey Club Board Members

The Fisher River Hawks Junior B Hockey Club is seeking to fill, up to 4 Board Member positions.

Duties/qualifications include:

1. Attend all board and committee meetings and functions, such as special events.
2. Be informed about the organization’s mission, policies, and knowledge of hockey.
3. Review agenda and supporting materials prior to board and committee meetings.
4. Inform others about the organization.
5. Keep up-to-date on developments in the organization’s field.
6. Follow conflict-of-interest and confidentiality policies.
7. Assist the board in carrying out its fiduciary responsibilities, such as reviewing the organization’s annual financial statements.
8. Contribute to the program.
9. Attend the hockey games when possible.
