Forum investigates the Bruce’s cultural riches – Wiarton Echo

A full house sat in the Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation Community Centre this past weekend as part of the Sources of Knowledge (SOK) Forum, a popular speaker series based in Tobermory.

This year, the 8th annual SOK focused on the historical significance of the Bruce’s First Nations people, it’s collective history, and the recent Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC). The Forum sought to shed light on how the Bruce could contribute to the recommendations made following the results of the TRC given last year.
