You’ll connect with internal and external stakeholders, coordinate essential services, support staff, and help create a safe, efficient, and welcoming office environment.

  • Screen incoming calls, retrieve general voicemail messages, and re-direct to the appropriate person or department; Maintain phone systems throughout the organization;
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, invoices, and tracking systems;
  • Maintain all photocopy rooms inventory, and basic troubleshooting of equipment;
  • Coordinate and oversee functions of outside contractors as assigned;
  • Order and maintain building maintenance materials such as cleaning supplies;
  • Ensure the secure handling and storage of confidential documents; adhere to APTN archival records and document management.

Your accomplishments and experience include:

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline with related experience; or equivalent combination of education, experience, and traditional knowledge;
  • Experience in administration and customer service is required;
  • Proficiency with Internet, E-mail and other business-related computer software is required;
  • Experience in an Indigenous organization is an asset;
  • Experience with First Nations/Métis/Inuit culture and teachings is an asset.
