GN and NTA reach tentative settlement on new collective agreement

Iqaluit, Nunavut – After a week of collaborative negotiations, the Government of Nunavut (GN) and the Nunavut Teachers’ Association (NTA) reached a tentative settlement on a new collective agreement on May 2, 2025.

The current agreement is set to expire on June 30, 2025. The agreement is subject to ratification by both parties, at which point more details will be provided.
