Iqaluit, Nunavut (January 20, 2026) – The Government of Nunavut (GN) has been recognized as one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People by Canada’s Top 100 Employers for the seventh consecutive year.
“Being named one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People is a proud moment for us,” said Human Resources Minister Annie Tattuinee. “This recognition celebrates the work and the culture we’ve created to ensure our young employees can engage with meaningful opportunities. The Government of Nunavut strives to nurture talent in a welcoming and inclusive workplace, giving young employees the support they need to grow their careers.”
Several programs were highlighted in the GN’s selection as one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People, including, Amaaqtaarniq education program, Tuglirijavut student employment program and Hivuliqtikhanut leadership development.
