Implementing an action plan for Indigenous Education is part of the Upper Canada District School Boards 2025-2029 Director’s Workplan and the board recently received an update on its efficacy.
The board invested $1.5 million to boost school book collections, which included Indigenous-authored stories.
System Superintendent Amanda Nieman said representation matters.
