Grants and contributions presentation in Baker Lake

The Department of Culture and Heritage invites Baker Lake residents to a public presentation about our Grants and Contributions Policy on December 10, 2025.

Every year, the Department of Culture and Heritage provides funding for community-led projects and initiatives in the following areas:

• Preserving and promoting Nunavut’s cultural legacy.
• Support for Elders and youth activities.
• Maintaining and sharing Inuit societal values.
• Language promotion, protection and preservation.

The information session will take place on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 6 p.m. in the Nunamiut Lodge conference room.

This presentation is free and open to all members of the public. Interpretation will be available and refreshments will be provided.
