The Town of Halton Hills and Halton Hills Public Library invite residents to recognize Indigenous History Month through a series of free cultural, educational, and community experiences that celebrate the traditions, stories, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples.

Through art exhibitions, performances, community gatherings, and family activities, residents are encouraged to deepen their understanding of Indigenous cultures and the ongoing journey of Truth and Reconciliation.

“Learning is an important part of truth and reconciliation,” said Mayor Ann Lawlor. “Indigenous History Month provides opportunities for residents to connect with Indigenous cultures, stories, and traditions in meaningful ways. Come and enjoy beautiful art and ceremony. You will be enriched.”
