It’s hard to believe it’s been nearly a year since the Skeena Signage Project!
The Truth and Reconciliation Team continues its dedicated work in education, support, residential school and TB hospital research, and cultural initiatives with—and for—our community.
What you can expect from us in the near future:
- A survey that focuses on how we can best support Crosby School and Miller Bay hospital experiences
- Seaweed harvest – First trip, May 2nd
- TB class action information distribution from the law firms
- Information and invites for Miller Bay monument community visits to share a meal, meet the artist and help carve
- Standing up the Miller Bay monument “save the date” and event details
- Survivor lead workshops coming in June 2025
We remain committed to walking this path together in a spirit of respect, reflection, and relationship-building.
