Nunatukavut Community Council President Todd Russell was beaming after Nunatukavut artist Charlene Rumbolt’s piece was unveiled at Confederation Building on Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2025, where it will remain indefinitely.

Russell said celebrating Indigenous art like this — many Indigenous artworks line the room — represents one more step in repairing a relationship that’s been fraught with conflict and strife in the past.
