Dr. Harry Voogjarv, Regional Supervising Coroner, North Region, Sudbury office, announced today that an inquest will be held into the death of Justin Alexander Trudeau.
Mr. Trudeau, 44 years old, was from Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory. He died on February 13, 2021, while in custody at the Sudbury Jail.
The inquest will examine the circumstances surrounding Mr. Trudeau’s death. The jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing further deaths.
