Kawehno:ke Medical Clinic Hosting Rheumatology Clinic

The MCA Department of Health’s Clinical Care Services Sector is notifying the community that the Kawehno:ke Medical Clinic will be hosting quarterly rheumatology clinics with Dr. Natasha Gakhal and Dr. Dana Jerome. Dr. Jerome and Dr. Gakhal are both rheumatologists with the Women’s College Hospital in Toronto, ON.
The rheumatology clinic will be held quarterly at the Kawehno:ke Medical Clinic and will require a referral from your primary care provider to receive an appointment.
Common issues that the rheumatology clinic will address are as follows:
- Arthritis
- Inflammatory disorders
- Swollen, painful joints
The rheumatology clinics will be available for both Ontario and Quebec residents and will require current OHIP or RAMQ health cards.
Please speak to your primary healthcare provider about a referral to the rheumatology clinics.
