Lytton wildfire still growing in size – KelownaNow

A wildfire in the Lytton area isn’t showing signs of slowing down, in fact, it grew overnight from 300 to about 500 hectares in size.
Currently, about 19 fire firefighters are on the scene but will soon be relieved by other crews.
“The fire is expected to flair up throughout the day as daytime temperatures increase,” explained Fire Information Officer Max Birkner.
Aircraft continue to action and monitor the fire throughout the day.
At this time, all Evacuation Alerts remain in effect.
