Makigiaqta Inuit Training Corp.: Closing Date Extended

Makigiaqta would like to advise you that the deadline for our call for proposal for distance learning/ e-learning services has been extended to July 10 at 5:00 PM eastern time.

The aim of these services will be to provide Nunavut Inuit with education, training and skills needed for employment, and to enhance their economic participation and opportunities.

The selection process will prioritize small not-for-profit organizations that are based in Nunavut communities, or organizations with majority Inuit membership. Makigiaqta will award up to two hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to each organization selected. Those selected will be required to provide distance/e-learning programs until March 31, 2021.

Applications for funding will be reviewed by the Makigiaqta Program Committee. All successful applicants will be required to enter into a contribution agreement Makigiaqta before receiving funding.
