AFNQL Chief Ghislain Picard, Grand Chief Dr. Matthew Coon Come of the Grand Council of the Crees (Eeyou Istchee)/Cree Nation Government, Chief Adrienne Anichinapéo from the Conseil des Anicinapek de Kitcisakik, Chief Adrienne Jérôme from the Conseil de la Première Nation Anishinabe de Lac Simon, Councillor Françoise Ruperthouse from the Conseil de la Première Nation Abitibiwinni and Viviane Michel, President of Quebec Native Women, will address the systemic racism in the flawed justice system and persistent inaction from the Government of Quebec who continues to refuse the implementation of a provincial judicial inquiry on all aspects related to the relationship between policing services and First Nations and the administration of Justice.
