A 29-year-old woman arrested on outstanding warrants in Attawapiskat First Nation now faces an additional charge of drug trafficking after police seized suspected methamphetamine.
Members of the local Nishnawbe Aski Police Service detachment were on a routine community patrol on Tuesday afternoon, when they observed the woman, who was known to be wanted.
Officers approached her as she was exiting a business on Balsam Street.
