Mikisew Cree First Nation Treaty Days Set for June 20-21 in Fort Chipewyan – CFWE

Community members and visitors are invited to celebrate culture, community and Treaty relationships during the Mikisew Cree First Nation Treaty Days on June 20 and 21 at the Community Hall and Ball Diamond in Fort Chipewyan. The two-day event will feature cultural activities, entertainment, and celebrations of Cree traditions.
Jennifer Shortman, Events Coordinator with Mikisew Cree First Nation, tells CFWE as excitement builds for this year’s Treaty Days, the featured entertainment will include performances by Chelsie Young & Midnight Thunder alongside David Lee Murphy. She goes on to say organizers are hard at work to make the 2026 Treaty Days Celebrations the biggest yet.
