Quote
“Supporting Labrador’s young athletes is something I am passionate about and that includes breaking down financial barriers faced by youth living in some of our most isolated communities. In 2023, we increased the Labrador Sport Travel Subsidy to offset the higher cost of team airfare, improved the mileage claim process and enhanced travel for Labrador athletes who qualify for provincial teams. Today’s announcement offers more opportunities for youth from across Labrador to experience the fundamental skills and growth that sporting events provide.”
