NCC’s Department of Health and Community Services is hosting a Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit+ people (MMIWG2S+) Community Forum, open to NCC members within the territory.

When: February 5, 2026 – 9:30am – 4:00pm
Where: Port Hope Simpson

We are honoured to welcome presenters from the Newfoundland & Labrador Family Liaison Unit with Victim Services, along with other speakers and knowledge holders.

This forum is an opportunity to:
– Connect with supportive community partners
– Gain knowledge and learn about available services
– Participate in a cultural activity and sharing circles

Please note: Registration is required for this event. In addition, limited travel funding is available for those living outside of Port Hope Simpson. Please advise if you have mobility needs or dietary restrictions.
