An immersive exhibit in Thunder Bay, Ont., tells the stories of Sixties Scoop survivors ahead of Indigenous Survivors Day.

The Sixties Scoop refers to a period, starting in the 1960s, when thousands of Indigenous children were removed from their homes and forced to live with non-Indigenous foster or adoptive families. This resulted in a loss of cultural identity and family fractures that have lasted generations.
