The annual celebration happens alongside the Father’s Day Show ‘n’ Shine
National Indigenous Peoples Day is on Sunday, June 21 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park, alongside the 50th annual Cruisin’ Classic Fathers Day Show ’n’ Shine, with a park-wide celebration open to everyone.
Shiny cars, music, food and artisan vendors, and cultural activities — including a mini powwow — will offer community connection throughout the day in a family-friendly setting.
National Indigenous Peoples Day, presented by the Lheidli T’enneh First Nation, is more than an event, a recent press release stated.
