In a move aimed at safeguarding diverse communities, the province of Ontario has announced a significant increase in funding for its Anti-Hate Security and Prevention Grant
Faith-based and cultural groups across Ontario are being encouraged to apply for enhanced security grants as the province commits more resources to combat hate crimes.
The Province will spend an additional $12.75 million in the Anti-Hate Security and Prevention Grant (AHSP). The grant helps faith-based and cultural organizations implement safety measures, including security guards, building upgrades, and surveillance cameras to ensure their community spaces remain safe and secure.
